BISS Am & Can Champion
Joval-Arily Grand Illusion
"Ozzy" |
|
Joval-Arily
Grand Illusion "OZZY" started his show career in
style by earning his championship title in just 2
weekends.
Even more impressive is that his championship wins were
all majors (4) AND he did this while being only 18
months old!
The last of these Major wins was earned at the
prestigious Devon show during the Montgomery Specialty
Weekend 2007.
After becoming a Champion during that weekend, he was
"put away" to spend the winter growing up and mature.
In May 2008,
Ozzy attended the Canadian National Specialty Cluster
and definitely made the trip worthwhile. On the first day, from the classes, Ozzy won BEST IN
SHOW at the biggest terrier specialty in Canada. The
Next Day, he went Best of Winners and Best Opposite Sex to Krissi
(CH Joval Angel's Kiss)
at the Canadian National Championship.
That same day, at the subsequent show, Ozzy again went
Best of Winners, but continued on to Win Best of Breed
then
earned a Group II, thus earning Ozzy his Canadian
Championship - all in one weekend.

In
preparation for the World Dog Show, Ozzy was shown
throughout June... and, in that month, earned two Group
I's, Four Group II's and thrust him into the TOP 10
Airedales in the USA for 2007. At the World Dog Show in
Stockholm, Sweden, Ozzy showed like a real champion.
During the three 'Cluster Shows" Ozzy earned Excellent
Judge's comments and placements each day. Finally, at
the World Dog Show itself, Ozzy earned the dog rCAC.
From Judges and spectators alike, Ozzy earned many
positive comments and made us very proud as his owner &
breeder.
In August,
Ozzy again took a "quick trip" back to Canada and won 2
more Group II's.
Then, over the next few months, Ozzy continued his
successes in the US buy earning numerous Best of Breeds
and Group Placements.
These wins were enough to make Ozzy the #1 Airedale in
Canada for the year and put him far enough ahead that
no other Airedale could catch him.
In October,
during the Montgomery Specialty Weekend, Ozzy was
awarded First Award of Merit at both the
Hatboro Show and the Montgomery National Specialty. The
rest of that fall, Ozzy was only shown sparingly, but
still went on to win many more Best of Breeds and Group
placements. He finished the year ranked #7 Airedale in
the US, after only being shown actively for 4 months
during 2008.
So, all in
all, 2008 was a VERY good year for Ozzy!
