Joval Smart
Money (Ben) was born here in the US at the end of 2003.
We raised him to the age of evaluation and it was
obvious
that he had a show career in his future. As with
several of our promising youngsters, we decided to
allow Ben to travel and pursue his
show career outside the Country as both an "embassador"
as well as a solid representative of the Breed.
Our soon to be GREAT friends Monica
& Börje Gustafson contacted us and ultimately
allowed
Ben to adopt them. They worked with him while he
matured, and to no one's surprise, he started his show career in style
by
winning a Best of Breed and earning his first CC.
At this show Judge Ove Germundsson
commented...
"18 month male of excellent type and model. Lovely lines
and wonderful head and expression.
Excellent neck, back and proportions, suiting bone. Fantastic
movement typical for the breed,
good angulations. A real king of terriers"
Shown by Börje
himself, Ben soon earned his Swedish Championship and
has gone on to numerous Best of Breed and
Group Wins including a Best In Show 6 at the Large
Olands Kennel Club Show and an Excellent Rating
at the World Dog Show Cluster of Shows in Stockholm
2008.
At the World
Dog Show both Börje and Ben were integral in helping
JOVAL Kennel achieve the Best Airedale Breeder and
go on into the Specials Group Ring to share in being
named a finalist out of the 72 Possible competitors.
Ben is a sweet,
positive and good looking boy who loves all people as
well as other dogs.
He is always happy when Monica & Börje
pack the knapsack for a day out in nature or when they
ready for a show.
Ben not only
excels in the ring, but also as a Sire of numerous
puppies in many countries including (Sweden, Finland
and Estonia)
We wish Ben,
Monica & Börje all the
success and continued happiness they deserve.
