Big Lady's Your Majesty was bred in Finland by Pirjo Hjelm. He was bought by Terttu Lardner and moved to Sweden as a puppy. His call name couldn't be anything but Charles and he really lives up to his name. Being very self-assured he has an air of royalty about him and acts as though everyone else is there to serve him. To Charles it would be unthinkable to do things to please someone else, he only pleases himself.

 Trimmed and handled by co-owner Dodo Sandahl he has had a tremendously successful career winning the competitions for Top Airedale in Sweden -96, -97, -98 and -99, Top Airedale in Finland -97 and -98, Top Terrier in Sweden -98 plus runner up for Top Terrier -99. He also won BIS at 8 breed specialty shows. We are very proud of all of his achievements. It has been fun to show Charles and he has always performed well, never let us down.

As a sire Charles has done very well. He has sired numerous champions in Scandinavia for example Nordic Ch JWW-98 Sandale Cover Girl, Top Airedale bitch two years running, and Int, Nordic Ch Sandale Your Turn who was Top Airedale in 2000.

Now 10 years old Charles is in retirement at home together with his 11-year old half-brother and a grandson. The three males get on famously together and Charles rules, of course. Now and then he goes to work with Terttu. He is greatly appreciated by the patients in the home for people suffering from dementia. Hopefully Charles can contribute by widening the US gene pool and pass on his virtues in the US as well.
